Antlitz is a meticulously crafted release, composed of dense drones contrasted by precise musical gestures. Dark waves of sound pour into the room through the speakers like a flood as the needle hits the vinyl; a brillant spindrift, as the waves break around the listeners’s head; soft and warm harmonies, as the storm calms and the water recedes. Antlitz is a journey through wide spaces and new foreign territories. A gorgeous voyage into far away sonic lands, passing deep abysses, wild oceans, sparse woods, harsh mountain peaks, ultimately elevating the listener high up into the sky and beyond, bound for new acoustic solar systems.
